Saturday nightโs racing saw McCain come back in the actual Mile distance (not 1600m) and clock a 4:28.48 in his competitive heat of the boys mile race which converts to a 4:26.92 personal best in the 1600m run. In the girls actual Mile distance, Pielemeier ran a 5:07.64, which converts to a 5:05.86 in the 1600m, lowering her school record that she set earlier this spring at the Lake Hamilton Invitational by over 2 seconds.
