The Lake Hamilton School District will operate on a two-hour delayed start on Thursday, February 20, 2025, with school beginning at 10:00 a.m. Dismissal will occur at regularly scheduled times. 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 🔳Bus riders should be ready for pick-up two hours later than their normal time. For example, if your normal pick-up time is 6:45 a.m., your pick-up would occur tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. 🔳Car rider drop-off will begin at 9:30 a.m. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 🔳Staff members should report at 9:00 a.m. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety and security of our students and staff.

Due to winter weather conditions, the Lake Hamilton School District will be closed on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. All campus activities and events scheduled for Wednesday have been rescheduled or canceled. The missed school day will be made up on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, which is a designated inclement weather make-up day. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe and warm!

Due to the predicted winter weather, the Lake Hamilton School District will dismiss early at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Car rider dismissal and first bus shifts will begin at 1:00 p.m. Since students will attend school until 1:00 p.m., this day will not need to be made up. All evening activities scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, have been canceled or rescheduled. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students and staff.

A reminder that Monday, February 17 is a regular school day. Originally scheduled as an inclement weather day, it is a regular school day to make up for the snow closure in January.

All current 6th–11th grade students and at least one parent/guardian (18 or older) must attend a Student Success Planning Conference on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, to review course selections for the 2025-26 school year, student success plans, and graduation requirements. Monday, January 20, is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and a scheduled teacher workday. There will be no school for students. Classes will resume for students on Tuesday, January 21.

We’re almost there, #LHWolfNation! Only 24 roads in our district remain unclear and untreated, making them unsafe for bus transportation. The updated list of roads that remain unsafe for bus transportation on Friday, January 17, 2025, can be found at https://lhsd.info/road-list-jan-17-2025 As always, student absences will not be counted for those living on roads that remain unsafe or untreated.
