LOGIN MASTERS Mrs. Diggs' 2nd grade class practiced logging in to Seesaw and completing their first activity. Students will use the online platform to complete some of their assignments in the classroom throughout the year. This is also the communication platform that teachers will use to share information and work samples with parents. FALL SCHOOL PICTURES Mark your calendars! Fall Pictures for students and staff at Lake Hamilton Elementary will be taken on Thursday, September 9, 2021. These are the student pictures that will be featured in the yearbook, so every child will have their picture taken regardless of if prints are ordered or not. Be looking for order forms to come home prior to picture day. #LHWolfNation

WORDS OF WISDOM Mrs. Roberts' 3rd grade students received letters from the past during this first week of school. Former students wrote to the new 3rd graders and shared everything they thought they would need to know to have a successful 3rd grade year. The students really enjoyed getting their letters! #LHWolfNation

MAKE A WISH! Students in Ms. Glover's 2nd grade class thought of something they can't do...YET but want to do by the end of the year. They went on a scavenger hunt around the building looking for ready confetti and blew a wish for their "Magical Yet". #LHWolfNation

​MEALS AT NO COST FOR 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR The Lake Hamilton School District is pleased to announce that breakfasts and lunches will be served to all students at no charge during the 2021-2022 school year. It is not necessary to complete a meal application for free or reduced-priced meals as The United States Department of Agriculture has extended meal benefits to all students at this time. For households who wish to complete a meal application, please click the following link: https://www.myschoolapps.com/Home/PickDistrict. Paper applications will also be available upon request at each school. These meal benefits do not include a la carte items sold in the cafeteria. If students wish to purchase items a la carte, they will need to have money for those purchases. All adults, teachers, support staff members, and administrators of the district must assume the full cost of the meal which is $2.25 for Breakfast and $3.85 for Lunch. #LHWolfNation

MASKS REQUIRED INDOORS & ON SCHOOL BUSES On Monday, August 9, 2021, the Lake Hamilton School District Board of Education approved the following mask policy: All students (Pre-K through 12th grade), employees, and visitors entering schools and indoor facilities within the Lake Hamilton School District must wear an appropriate face-covering. All passengers and drivers on district school busses must wear an appropriate face-covering. The Board of Education will review COVID-19 case counts and related data monthly. The mask policy will expire on December 17, 2021, or sooner, if the board moves to repeal them, or a court acts to reverse the temporary injunction or uphold Act 1002 of 2021. #LHWolfNation

COVID-19 VACCINE CLINICS There are three upcoming vaccine clinics in Hot Springs: July 10: Tesla Fest at Mid America Science Museum (Pfizer 1st dose), 500 Mid America Blvd. (10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) July 10: Wade Park, 300 Wade St. (10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) July 17: Bank OZK Arena, 134 Convention Blvd. (8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) Arkansans ages 12 or older are now eligible to receive the vaccine. Each week, vaccine clinics will happen in each of the five public health regions. Some clinics will be first-come, first-served, but reservations can be made at others.
