CUB CLUB AND ALPHA PACK
Congratulations to our March LHPS Cub Club and Alpha Pack. These students were selected by their teacher based on outstanding character and for doing things "The Wolf Way."

LEARNING GOALS MET
These students in Ms. Wornick's first-grade class met their reading and math iStaion goals for March! Congratulations!

In Ms. Stallman's art class, kindergarten students are learning about rainbow colors and color order. The students are using paint sticks to make rainbows and then water to "wake" them up and paint the white space! Next week, they will add 3-D butterflies! Our students are so talented! #LHWolfNation
HEADBAND GAME
Kindergarten students in Ms. Jordan's room are practicing decoding words with the headband game! Students mingle with their peers, decode their words, and draw a picture to match the word. This helps with fluency, vocabulary and social skills!

PERFECT ATTENDANCE MS. HIGHTOWER
Ms. Hightower's first-grade class has achieved 10 days of perfect attendance and earned a Blow Pop party.

READING FUN
Students in Ms. Blocker's kindergarten class loved playing a fun game to practice their reading and rhyming skills. Each student received a word, and then had to find their rhyming partner! #LHWolfNation
LEVELING UP IN LEXIA
Primary School students use the computer-based reading program Lexia for practicing Phonics and reading skills. Cole in Ms. Nash's kindergarten class has completed all of the kindergarten levels and has moved up to first-grade reading program. He earned a Sonic slush for his hard efforts. Congratulations Cole!

CATCHING A LEPRECHAUN
Hoping to catch a Leprechaun in time for St. Patrick's Day, students in Ms. Richardson's first-grade class worked with a partner to design and build a Leprechaun trap.

MAKING HATS
Student's in Ms. Kincannon's class worked with Occupational Therapists to make hats for Hat Day during Read Across America Week.

Mr. Jones, LHHS Assistant Principal, visited Mrs. Kight's class and read to them. The students loved hearing stories from their future principal!

PORTRAIT OF A FRIEND
Kindergarten students in Ms. Stallman's art class are working on their "portrait of a friend" project. They are drawing each other based on the illustrations of the book "It's Okay to be Different" by Todd Parr.
