NO COST BULK MEALS Make plans to drive by the high school cafeteria tomorrow to receive no cost bulk meals for the week of Thanksgiving break. 7 breakfast and 7 lunch bulk meals will be provided for each student 18 years or younger. The drive by bulk meal pick up will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. behind the high school cafeteria. No registration is required. #LHWolfNation

RETURN TO ONSITE INSTRUCTION REGISTRATION Students currently enrolled in the Lake Hamilton Virtual Academy may transfer to onsite learning for the spring semester. Virtual Academy students wishing to transfer must complete the registration form (https://lhsd.info/Return-To-Onsite-Instruction) on or before December 7, 2020. Virtual Academy students transferring to onsite instruction will begin attending onsite on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. If there are multiple students in your household transferring to onsite learning, each student must submit a "return to onsite instruction" registration form. Parents wanting their students to transfer from onsite to virtual instruction for the spring semester must have extenuating circumstances requiring virtual instruction. These situations will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Parents should contact the building principal to set up a meeting regarding virtual academy eligibility. #LHWolfNation

PUMPKIN DONATION When our students were not able to make their annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch this year, Lonewolf Auto Body and Paint Shop, a Partner in Education with the Lake Hamilton School District, went above and beyond. They bought and donated enough pumpkins for each student, including virtual students to have a pumpkin. They even delivered them to the school and set them up in a "pumpkin patch" on a cold, rainy morning. A huge thank you to shop Owner, Mike Jester and his staff Jordan Hightower, Drake Jester and Hunter Jester for helping our students have a small trip to the "pumpkin patch" #LHWolfNation

CALLING ALL VIRTUAL STUDENTS AND FAMILIES The Wolf Pack Reading Den will be available at three different locations on Tuesday, November 3 for Lake Hamilton Virtual Academy students and families. Wolf Pack Reading Den staff will be on board to allow virtual students the opportunity to check out books and to assist with any technology related questions. SWEETEST TEACHER Schlotzshy's Deli recently asked people to go to their website and vote for the "Sweetest Teacher in Garland County". First Grade teacher, Amber Hall, was voted as the winner. Scholtzshy's presented her with a certificate and some Cinnabons! #LHWolfNation
