CAR RIDER DISMISSAL Please see the attached information for Car Rider Dismissal procedures. Following these procedures will help us get the line moving faster and reduce the chance of accidents. Reminder: Please do not move around other cars to get to your pick-up spot. This causes the other students to lose their place in line. #LHWolfNation

CLASSROOM FAMILY Mrs. Hightower's first-grade class read Our Class is a Family to help build and strengthen their class community. Students learned that their classroom is a place where it's safe to be themselves, it's okay to make mistakes, and it's important to be a friend to others. Family isn't always your relatives. After the story, each child received their classroom family bracelet! #LHWolfNation

FREE BREAKFAST FOR STUDENTS The Lake Hamilton School District is proud to announce that all students will have the opportunity to eat 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 at school during the 2022-23 school year at no charge. The LHSD will participate in the Universal Breakfast Program for the upcoming school year that allows all students to receive a nutritious breakfast each morning at no cost to our parents, regardless of household income. Once the District received official word that the National School Lunch Program waiver that provided free meals to our students due to the COVID-19 pandemic was not being extended for the 2022-23 school year, we quickly began researching options to assist our families and students. The Universal Breakfast Program is only being offered for the 2022-23 school year at this time to assist our families during the transition of going from free meals due to the pandemic, to paying for school meals. 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐨𝐫 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐛𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 { https://lhsd.info/22-23-meal-app }. The District is relying on each family to help make sure that lunch payments are made in advance or at the point of sale for each lunch. We are excited to be able to provide free breakfast to all of our students for the 2022-23 school year. Studies have shown that students who participate in the Universal Breakfast Program have better classroom behavior, stronger attendance patterns, and better test scores. The Lake Hamilton School District believes that this will have a positive impact on the overall well-being our students. #LHWolfNation
