Please be aware of the upcoming deadlines for student health requirements:
September 23 is the deadline to submit immunization records to your child's school nurse.
September 23 is also the deadline to submit physical examination forms for kindergarten students.
According to state law, all students must be current on their immunizations to attend school. Your child's school nurse may have already sent, or will be sending, letters if your child is missing any required immunizations.
Action Steps:
If your child needs immunizations (including kindergarten immunizations, Tdap, or MCV4), please schedule an appointment with your physician promptly. Inform your child's school nurse of the appointment date.
If your child has an exemption letter, please submit it to the school nurse as soon as possible if you haven't already. Exemption letters were due on the first day of school.
If you are unsure whether your child is in compliance with immunization requirements, please contact your building nurse for assistance.
