Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach this season of gratitude, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. This time of year provides us with a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the many blessings we share, and I am incredibly grateful for the partnership we have with our school community. As we approach the end of the semester, I would like to share info about reminders and celebrations.
Reminders
Dress Code: Many students are wearing shoes without backs (slides, birkenstocks, crocs) which is fine. However, they are taking them off when they play outside and are losing them. If your student plans to run and play outside please make sure they are wearing shoes that will stay on their feet.
Cell Phones: I am so pleased at how well students are following our cell phone policy! As a reminder, cell phones must be silenced and put away when students arrive until they are dismissed at 3:05.
Grades
The end of the semester is approaching; please encourage your child to finish strong. We are identifying students that need extra time and support. Grades are posted in HAC, so please be sure you are checking them.
Celebrations
We are planning for another Wolf Time Games for students when we come back in January. In order to participate, students must meet the following criteria:
2 or less unexcused absences & 2 or less tardies per nine weeks
Binder/supplies/backpack is organized
At or above grade level (C or above) in all 8 periods
No major office referrals
Thank you for your continued support, your dedication to your children’s education, and the positive role you play in making our school a nurturing and thriving environment. As we take time to celebrate with our loved ones, I hope you all enjoy a restful holiday filled with gratitude and laughter.
