It is with great honor and excitement that we announce Jessica Paulsen as the 2023- 2024 Lake Hamilton School District Employee of the Year. Jessica is the registrar at the middle school and represented the office and technical staff as a finalist in the employee of the year program.

Jessica's tireless dedication to her job and our students makes her the perfect candidate for this prestigious award. Her proactive approach to problem-solving has not only addressed numerous challenges but has also paved the way for solutions that benefit our entire school community.

Jessica's contributions extend far beyond her primary role. She organizes and distributes backpacks for our food program, ensuring no student goes hungry. She facilitates second chance breakfasts, giving students an extra opportunity to start their day right. Jessica's commitment to students in need is evident in her organization of a fundraising event to create a care closet, providing essential items for those who need them most.

Jessica's warm and welcoming demeanor transforms the counselor's office into a safe haven for all who enter. During the holidays, she goes the extra mile by arranging for Santa to visit and creating a photo booth for students, bringing joy and festive cheer to our school.

Her support for teachers is invaluable, providing resources that enhance classroom effectiveness. Jessica's collaborative spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand make her an indispensable asset to the entire faculty. She fills in wherever needed, coming in early, staying late, and always ready with ideas to help the school run smoother.

Jessica's dedication extends beyond the school day. She manages RTI scheduling, fills in for substitutes, and takes on any task thrown her way.

Her relentless drive to improve the school environment inspires others to work harder and strive for excellence. Jessica communicates effectively with parents and students, making them feel safe and valued. She helps organize enrichment classes involving local businesses and professionals, further enhancing our students' learning experiences.
