The Arkansas Energy Rocks (APR) Program has named Lynn Strong, a middle school science teacher, the Energy Education Teacher of the Year. This award is presented to one teacher annually who goes above and beyond in exposing students to information about energy sources, usage, issues, and the important role energy plays in our lives.
APR is an energy program that educates students on the oil and natural gas industry, energy production, energy jobs, natural resources, environmental practices, and misinformation about fossil fuels.
