Lake Hamilton Junior High has been named a Model Professional Learning Communities (PLC) at Work school by the Arkansas Department of Education Division of Elementary and Secondary Education and Solution Tree after completing its third year in the PLC Process.
Model PLCs are some of the highest-performing schools around the globe. To qualify as a Model PLC, a school must demonstrate a commitment to PLC at Work concepts, implement those concepts for at least three years, present clear evidence of improved student learning, and provide data on a yearly basis that shows they continue to meet the criteria on the PLC at Work process.
