Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope your student had a great spring break. As we approach the final months of the school year, we want to share several important events happening at Lake Hamilton High School for our juniors and seniors. Please take note of the following dates for the month of April:
April 1st – Operation Prom: All juniors and seniors will attend Operation Prom at Cedar Glades Park, an event provided by LifeNet to promote safe decision-making during prom season.
April 4th – Senior Cap & Gown Delivery: Seniors will receive their cap and gown orders on this day. Please ensure that all balances are paid in full to receive these items.
April 9th & 10th – Draft Day: Juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to meet with potential employers, explore career paths, and learn about the skills required for various jobs.
April 18th – Prom: All juniors and seniors are invited to attend prom, a memorable night to celebrate with their classmates.
April 28th – Senior Survivor: This is a fun-filled day that the Class of 2025 won’t want to miss! It’s a great opportunity for seniors to create lasting memories together.
April 29th – My Future Signing Day: Parents are encouraged to attend this special event where we recognize every senior who has informed us of their post-high school plans. Whether they are pursuing college, a career, or the military, we want to celebrate their next steps.
For our sophomore class we have our last set of ATLAS testing. Please review the following dates and information.
ATLAS testing for all 10th graders will take place on April 14th, 16th, 21st, and 23rd. Please note that there will be no Late Start Monday for 10th grade students on April 14th and 21st, as testing will begin promptly in the morning at 8:00 am.
It is essential that every student brings a fully charged Chromebook each testing day. If a student is unable to charge their device for any reason, please let me know in advance, and I will assist in ensuring they have a charged device for testing.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping make these testing days run smoothly.
Lake Hamilton High School will offer Summer School for high school students from June 9th through June 26th, 2025, providing an opportunity to recover ½ credit in English, Math, or Biology to stay on track for on-time graduation. All instruction will be computer-based, with certified Math, ELA, and Science teachers available to facilitate learning. Classes will be held at Lake Hamilton High School, running Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and limited bus transportation will be available for students who need it. More information to come to the students that will need this as we approach the end of the school year.
I’ll reach out toward the end of the month to update everyone on May events.
We are excited about these upcoming events and look forward to celebrating our students' achievements. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school.
