The Lake Hamilton School District proudly recognizes 15 students from Lake Hamilton High School who have earned the prestigious Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy during the Fall 2024 certification cycle. These students have demonstrated proficiency in English and at least one other language, showcasing their exceptional linguistic skills and commitment to academic excellence.
The Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy, endorsed by the Arkansas Department of Education and supported by the Arkansas Foreign Language Teachers Association (AFLTA) and Arkansas Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (ARKTESOL), is awarded to students who meet rigorous language proficiency standards. This recognition not only highlights the hard work of these students but also emphasizes the value of biliteracy as a 21st-century skill.
