Lake Hamilton Primary School and Lake Hamilton Elementary School have been honored by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas for their exceptional student growth on the 2024 ATLAS exams. Both schools received the prestigious "Beating the Odds" award, recognizing their high academic growth despite serving a significant percentage of students who participate in the Free and Reduced Lunch program.
Each year, the OEP publishes its Outstanding Educational Performance Awards to highlight schools across the state that demonstrate remarkable student improvement. Growth scores, calculated by the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, measure how much students advanced from 2023 compared to peers with similar prior achievement.
